We would like to draw your attention to some vital information regarding passport requirements
for your upcoming cruise.
All guest passports must be valid for a minimum of six months past the cruise end date.
Additionally, guests on cruises visiting African ports of call will require a minimum of ten (10) blank visa passport pages, not including endorsement pages, to facilitate passport stamping.
Below is a list of countries in Africa that require blank visa passport pages and the respective number of passport pages for each. This is not a complete list as ports of call will vary by cruise:
- The Gambia – One (1) page
- Ghana – One (1) page
- Madagascar: One (1) page
- Namibia – Two (2) pages
- South Africa – Two (2) consecutive pages
- Tanzania: One (1) page
IMPORTANT: Guests sailing on more than one cruise must ensure they have the proper amount of blank visa passport pages for the entirety of their voyage. This notice is exclusive to the Africa portion of the cruise.
Important Reminders:
Please be sure to check your specific visa requirements by visiting VisaCentral - A CIBT Company, an Explorations by Norwegian partner. They have provided us with the following link to assist guests with visa requirements: https://cibtvisas.com.au/?login=tvl
All guests must obtain the necessary travel documents before their vacation departure. Failure to produce the correct visa and valid passport at embarkation will result in denial of boarding. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your cruise return date. Birth certificates, copies of passports and passport cards will not be accepted.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to providing you with a memorable cruise experience.
