Mozambique Visa & Entry Requirements

Guests visiting Mozambique as part of their Explorations by Norwegian voyage should review the entry requirements below before travelling.

Visa requirements for Mozambique vary depending on the nationality shown on your passport and whether you intend to go ashore during your visit.

Visa-Free Nationalities

Passport holders from the countries listed below do not require a visa to enter Mozambique for tourism or transit purposes.

Visa-Exempt Nationalities Requiring an Entry/Exit Stamp Fee

Passport holders from the countries listed below do not require a visa but must pay the applicable Mozambique entry/exit stamp processing fee if they intend to go ashore.

Do I Need a Visa?

If your passport country is included in either of the tables above, you may visit Mozambique without obtaining a visa in advance.

If your passport country does not appear in either table, you will require a visa if you plan to go ashore in Mozambique. The Ship will arrange this for you and the applicable charge made against your onboard account.

Guests who require a visa but choose to remain on board while the ship is in Mozambique are not required to obtain a visa.

Important Information for Visa Holders

• Preliminary visas are not accepted for cruise travel.
• Guests who are eligible for a Visa on Arrival and intend to go ashore must secure the appropriate visa before disembarking.
• Guests are responsible for ensuring they hold the correct travel documentation required for entry into Mozambique.

Entry & Exit Stamp and Visa Charges

To make your visit as seamless as possible, Explorations by Norwegian will facilitate the required Mozambique immigration processing.

Please note:

• Guests who have not pre-purchased the required visa or entry/exit stamp processing prior to departure may have the applicable fees automatically charged to their onboard account.
• This also applies to guests who originally intended to remain on board but later decide to go ashore while in Mozambique.

✅ Arrange the appropriate documentation if you plan to go ashore.
