To ensure a smooth embarkation and immigration process, all guests travelling on an Explorations by Norwegian voyage should carefully review their passport validity and blank visa page requirements before departure.
Passport Validity Requirements
All guest passports must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the end date of your cruise.
Guests travelling with passports that do not meet this requirement may be denied boarding or entry by immigration authorities.
Blank Passport Page Requirements
Many African countries require blank visa pages to facilitate immigration entry and exit stamps, visas and other official endorsements.
For voyages that visit ports in Africa, guests should carry a passport with a minimum of ten (10) blank visa pages, excluding endorsement or observation pages.
The number of blank pages required can vary by itinerary and destination.

⚠️ Important: Guests travelling on consecutive cruises or extended voyages must ensure they have sufficient blank visa pages available for the entirety of their journey.
The page requirements outlined above relate only to the African portion of your itinerary. Additional countries visited before or after Africa may have their own passport page requirements.
Before You Travel
To avoid delays or disruption to your holiday, please ensure:
✅ Your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your cruise end date.
✅ Your passport contains a minimum of ten blank visa pages if travelling on African itineraries.
✅ You have reviewed the specific visa page requirements for each country on your itinerary.
✅ Guests travelling on multiple voyages have enough blank pages for all destinations visited.
As passport and immigration requirements can change without notice, guests are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport that meets all entry requirements for every destination visited during their voyage.
Explorations by Norwegian recommends checking your passport well in advance of departure to allow sufficient time for renewal if required.
