Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)

Guests visiting Sri Lanka as part of their Explorations by Norwegian voyage may be required to obtain a Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling.

The type of ETA required depends on the length of time your cruise spends in Sri Lanka.

Guests may apply for an ETA up to 90 days before their arrival date in Sri Lanka.

Important Embarkation Requirement

All guests must carry a printed copy of their approved ETA.

A hard copy of the ETA must be submitted together with your passport during the embarkation process.

⚠️ Guests who are unable to present a valid approved ETA when required may experience delays or be denied boarding.

To ensure a smooth arrival in Sri Lanka, please make sure you:
