Yes. Your Cruise Card, known onboard as your World Card, is an essential part of your cruise experience and should be kept with you at all times when exploring the ship.
Your World Card serves as your:
- Stateroom key, providing access to your stateroom
- Ship access card, used when embarking and disembarking the ship
- Onboard charge card, used for any additional purchases you choose to make during your voyage
To make keeping your World Card close at hand easy, an Explorations by Norwegian branded lanyard and protective card pouch will be waiting for you in your stateroom upon embarkation. Simply place your World Card inside the pouch and you’ll be ready to explore!
Please note: Your World Card contains electronic technology that allows it to function throughout the ship. Punching or making a hole in the card may damage this technology and cause your World Card to stop working. For this reason, please do not punch holes in your World Card. Instead, we recommend using the complimentary Explorations by Norwegian lanyard and protective pouch provided in your stateroom.
