Explorations by Norwegian offers an exclusive and innovative Kosher program with menu items offerings a great focus on taste. We have partnered with Borenstein Caterers Incorporated to provide an exclusive Kosher dining experience.
Pre-Packaged Glatt Kosher Meals are produced under the supervision of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (the OU).
These meals are presented in plastic containers and double wrapped and served with an OU seal. All items intended for the oven are double wrapped.
All breads are Pas Yisroel and all dairy products are Cholov Yisroel.
Ordering Instructions
Kosher Meal requests must be submitted no later than 150 days prior to sailing, in order to allow ample time to order the meals and deliver to the ship by the departure date. As the Kosher program is very specialised from preparation to logistics to shipboard preparation and has a very limited shelf life, we ask that guests pre-order Kosher meals only if they plan on dining Kosher.
If the guests do not observe a strict kosher diet, please note that all of our ships always carry limited quantities of frozen raw Kosher proteins which include Veal Rack, Lamb Rack, Rib Eye Steak, Turkey Breast and Chicken onboard. These items do not require pre-ordering.
