What is the dress code for dining onboard?
At Explorations by Norwegian, we believe style should feel effortless. Our onboard dress guidelines balance relaxed comfort with a touch of elegance, so you can feel at ease throughout the day and dress up a little when the evening calls for it.
Specialty Dining Venues
Make the evening feel a little more special. For our specialty dining experiences, smart evening attire is requested. Gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers, a collared shirt and covered footwear, while ladies are invited to wear elegant evening attire with appropriate footwear.
Grand Dining Room
Think polished, yet comfortable. Smart attire is welcome, including neat dress shorts and shirts, allowing you to enjoy an elegant dining experience without feeling overly formal. T-shirts, pool attire, beachwear and hats are not suitable, and covered footwear is required.
Terrace Café
Relax and dine your way. As our most casual dining venue, Terrace Café welcomes comfortable, casual attire throughout the day and evening.
Around the Ship
Swimwear is best kept for days by the pool. When moving through indoor public areas, we simply ask that a cover-up is worn over swimwear. Appropriate footwear should also be worn throughout the ship.
