Guests visiting India as part of their Explorations by Norwegian voyage will generally require a valid Indian visa before travelling.

For most eligible nationalities, the easiest option is to apply for an Indian Tourist eVisa online before departure.

We recommend applying for a One-Year Multiple Entry Tourist eVisa, which is generally suitable for cruise itineraries visiting India.

Guests may apply for an eVisa up to 120 days before their arrival date in India.

Important Embarkation Requirement

Guests must carry a printed copy of their approved Indian eVisa.

A hard copy of the visa must be presented and submitted with your passport during the embarkation process.

Failure to provide a valid approved visa may result in denied boarding.
